Sherry Hudnall

Chief Civil Deputy

Deputy Hudnall is a graduate of Jena High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from ULM.  She has over 38 years of financial and business management experience.  Before joining the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Hudnall held positions with Belden Corporation, Owens-Corning Fiberglas and Georgia Pacific Corporation.

Deputy Hudnall’s current responsibilities include financial and human resource management, civil department and criminal records administration and grant administration.  Her extensive business experience, ethical values and professional conduct are valuable to the LPSO.  She has replaced outdated accounting systems, implemented financial controls, upgraded computer equipment and expanded communication.  She has also been successful in obtaining grant funding to acquire vehicles and to replace the LPSO’s manual systems with computerized systems for 911 calls, dispatch operations, jail booking and crime incident tracking.
