Parole Check Leads to Three Narcotic Arrest

On Wednesday, April 7th,  an LPSO Detective assisted Louisiana Probation and Parole Agents with a check of Tammy Passman’s residence on Hebert St. in Jena. Agents found three individuals inside, identified as Tammy Passman (33, of Jena), Codey Ellis (37, of Tullos), and Melanie Coleman (42, of Tullos).

A search of the residence revealed items of drug paraphernalia along with suspected methamphetamine inside of a plastic vial found in the downstairs bathroom. Melanie Coleman was also found to be in possession of numerous Xanax pills. Upon questioning of who the suspected methamphetamine belonged to, all three denied ownership. They were transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail and booked on the following charges:
 
Tammy Passman was booked on charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
Codey Ellis was booked on charges possession of CDS II methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
Melanie Coleman was booked on charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine, possession of CDS IV Alprazolam, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
