Traffic Stop Yields Methamphetamine Arrest

On the evening of Thursday, June 9, 2022, an LPSO K9 deputy stopped a vehicle on Blue Pond Road, South of Jena, after having knowledge that the driver, Bradley Humphries, 38, of Jena, had a suspended license.
 
After speaking with Humphries, the Deputy decided to utilize his K9 partner “Max” for a search of the vehicle and yielded a positive alert on both driver and passenger doors. During a hand search, Deputies located suspected methamphetamine inside of a plastic baggie. 

Humphries was arrested and transported to the LPSO Jail where he was booked on charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine and driving under suspension.
